FOUR WEEK COURSE
Our 4 week evening based course is designed to equip you with the essential bike maintenance skills you need for self repair on your bike at home or at the road side. The objective of the course is to help you to understand the working parts of the bike, to be able to conduct a basic check for problems and gain an understanding of tools and repair. So that everything you learn will have practical value you'll be working on your own bike. That means it will be very hands-on and lots of fun!
Over the weeks we will cover the following subjects:
- You and Your Bike – tool review, tyre and wheel fitment
- The Drive System – removal & installation of chainset, bottom bracket and chains
- The Gears and Brakes – adjustment and fitting cables
- Bike Cleaning, opportunity to recap on the work of previous weeks and Q&A
Session Duration: Each weekly session is from 19.00 to 21.30
Class Size: Each course has a minimum of 2 and a maximum of 5 students.
Fees: The fee for the 4 course week is £100 per student.
