SERVICES FOR INDIVIDUALS

Whether you use your bike to commute to work or to race let Cycle Doctor help you take care of your bike.

 

Cycle Doctor provides the most convenient bike servicing you can find. Cycle Doctor will service your bike at either your work place* or at our workshop and cycle-parking centre at Canary Wharf.

 

* Available in the City, Canary Wharf and West End only at present. The client is responsible for arranging for facilities to be available for servicing on site.

 

Cycle Doctor offers two types of treatment for your bike:

Treatment 1: Bike Health Check

Treatment 2: Bike Full Medical

Treatment 1: Bike Health Check

 

This check up is sufficient to keep your bike working when you need it. We suggest this treatment is carried out twice a year based on average commuter riding.

 

Price £45 (parts used on service not included)

  • Frame & Forks visual check for damage and clean
  • Brakes check for damaged parts and adjustment
  • Gears check for damaged parts and adjustment
  • Wheels hubs and rims checked for damage and trued if necessary
  • Tyres check for wear and inflate to correct pressure
  • Chain system checked for wear and lubricated

Other all bolts checked for tightness

Treatment 2: Bike Full Medical

 

This more comprehensive service is recommended for any bike that has not been serviced for some time or for bikes with heavy regular use.

 

Price £80 (*parts used on service not included)

 

  • Frame & Forks

visual check for damage and clean

  • Brakes

check for damaged parts and adjustment, remove and clean, fit new brake pads and cables if required*

  • Gears

check for damaged parts and adjustment, remove and clean, fit new cables if required*

  • Wheels

hubs and rims checked for damage and trued if necessary, remove and clean

  • Tyres

check for wear, inflate to correct pressure, check rim tape

  • Chain system

checked for wear and lubricated, chain and cassette replaced if required*

  • Other

all bolts checked for tightness, pedals, headset and bottom bracket checked for wear and free movement
